We Support Our Troops!
While we worry about the weather, traffic, or other trivial things our family, friends, and neighbors are serving their country in Afghanistan, Iraq, and throughout the world. We appreciate their service and thank them every single day.
Recently one of our local friends shipped off to Afghanistan and we’d like to ensure him that he is not forgotten nor unappreciated for serving. With Christmas coming fast we hope you’ll take a few minutes to write him a note and brighten his day by sending it to him wherever he may be.
While we wish we could personally thank each and every one of our soldiers we hope the letters are shared with the troops he serves with and that they demonstrate our appreciation for all of their sacrifices during the upcoming holiday season and into next year.
If you want to send him a nice card, but are pressed for time during the holiday season consider using SendOutCards.com. First card you send is free and will only take a few minutes of your time. Do something nice for a soldier, send a card!
Here’s his address and a pic of him:
355 Spec. Zaunbrecher, Craig
FOB Farah (Rescorla)

If you can’t get a card sent to Craig send him an email! Use craigz@fastestbartender.com and it will forward to his personal email account over in Afghanistan.

Hello Craig,
Merry Christmas from a distant relative you’ve never met, I’m sure. I am your Dad’s cousin from Rayne, La. I suppose you heard your Dad talk about Rayne and Aunt Hilda (with a house full of kids) Well, she was my Mom. She and your Grandfather, Martin, were brother and sister. I loved Uncle Martin, but never really got to see much of him and Aunt Bea, because they always lived so far away (continents away!) Sadly, when they moved back home, illness took him away all too soon! But, when they were around, your Dad would come play with my brothers. They were all rascals, including your Dad. I could go on and on, but I really wanted to tell you Merry Christmas, and that you have a lot of relatives praying for you. Thank you so much for what you are doing. I am glad that your Uncle Fritz sent me your picture and informed us about where you are. God Bless You. Your relative, Helen Hebert Menard, Rayne, Louisiana.
