Our Ocean City Fastest Bartender Contests were filled with passionate bartenders seeking to earn the right to call themselves the fastest in town. Only a few can avoid the distractions, withstand the pressure, and tend bar like Japanese hibachi chefs tends to their grills, to rise above the rest and win. Our three OC winners and their respective bars are: 1st place: Billy Degnan - Mackeys 2nd place: John Wulff - Party Block 3rd place: Gringo - Sunset Grille Congratulations guys!!! Our 18th H. Monday night at Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon- OFF THE HOOK!
Monday night at Hard Times Cafe in Clarendon was OFF THE HOOK!!! Travis Smith from Spider Kelly's took 1st place!! Incredible energy! Surprisingly, all top three finishers were from Spider Kelly's in Clarendon! We don't know their secret, but they'd better protect it like they protect their incredible recipes! Bailey’s in Crystal City Rocked Sunday Night!
The ever enthusiastic Madie Troy representing Buffalo Wing University dominated the competition Sunday night at Bailey’s in Crystal City. Her 1st place finish guarantees her a spot in the 2010 NOVA finals on May 23rd at the Crystal City Sports Pub. You can support Fastest Bartender Charities and Madie Troy when she and fellow finalist Bridgette Turner host an 11 hour fundraiser Saturday April 3rd at the Buffalo Wing University in Reston Virginia. Hard Times in Manassas Hosts Round 4
Hard Times knows how to host a Fastest Bartender Contest and the Manassas location is no exception. Cori Thompson took no prisoners and whooped up on her competition winning round 4 of the Northern Virginia 2010 contest series. The icing on the cake was that the great folks at the contest helped us raise over $600 for local charities! Round 4 Winner: Cori Thompson
Brion’s Grille Hosts Round 3
Round 3 of the Fastest Bartender Contest was held at Brion's Grille in Fairfax and the action was hot! Contestants from the area competed for bragging rights and a chance to become the Fastest Bartender in Northern Virginia in 2010.
